A storm of stars blow over the night sky.

A flock of clouds dances over darkness lit by millions of candles.

I was born in London in 1970.My mother, Lilly and father ,Peter, agreed to stay there for a year. When that year was over Father tracked  down his crew ,repaired his ancient nine year old ship and prepared to travel the  world.

I couldn't go to school because I would only ever stay for about three days so my mother, as a teacher used her teaching skills to teach me.

When it was time for me to go to high school, mother and Father had a bit of a debate whether I should go to high school or not. I ended up going to Marian high school in Christchurch, New Zealand. I still remember saying goodbye to the crew and leaving the boat to live a life on land. The subjects I chose to do was maths, swimming, woodworks and languages. I decided to go to swimming because I got a swimming medal in 1980 and I chose the rest of the subjects because I saw father using all those other skills in sailing. I did well in  all my subjects probably because mother was my tutor and-of course I enjoyed them all.

After leaving high school I went to university for a year. I didn't want to stay for too long. When I graduated my father died from a heart attack- my life long hero died. I was horrified but I told myself to harden up and get on with life. So I did.

I asked mother for fathers ship, put a poster up for a crew and prepared to travel the world but this time as a captain I came across your poster when I was gathering equipment for my crew and I decided that I shall try to become the sailor for the island.

My goals for the future are to raise a healthy child with my husband Sam as well as my parents did and to discover new land that no other civilised person has ever seen before .Thankyou for your time,I hope I will come to mind when you are choosing who will be on the island

At school we are doing goals for term 3 & 4 so I am going to type them in to my blog.These are my term three goals...

1.(Literacy) I am going to try and use fullstops consistently.

2.(Literacy) I am going to try and use more metaphors.

3.(Numeracy)I am going to try and get better at long division.

4.(Social)I am going (try) to have a tidy desk.

 The thing I am looking forwards to the most is making cushion covers!!

I think I have achieved both my litericy goals and I have definitly got better at long division

These are my term4 goals ...

1. (Literacy) I am going to practice telling the reader what the time is without literally telling them
2. (Literacy)I am going to try and use different sentence types
3. (Numeracy)I am goin to practise multiplying decimals
4. (Social)I still need to consistently keep my desk tidy

Jake9 and Jackson9 went surfing one day and got washed up on the shore of an undiscoverd island.As the discoverers of the island they decided to have any one who wanted to be on the island needed to pay $1,000,000 but there was 30 spots for free and what do you know? there is thirty people in our class.We ended up picking what jobs we are going to have and make up a character for that job I ended up as a sailor good luck for me all I know about sailors is that they sail on ships

Well I wrote one any way I'm not going to type it in because that will take forever.I'm Sandy Sailsman perfect name for a sailor don't you

think? It doen't really matter if I DO NOT know anything about sailing does it?
