Alex Wiggins Autobiography(A.K.A Becky's Autobiography)

I was born in Nelson in 1973. I moved to Auckland when I was five. My parents didn't earn much money, so we didn't have many supplies. My mother got a job and we moved to Sydney when I was ten. We made more money and were able to live well. My father went to Brazil and decided to live there. My mother got ill and couldn't work. I took over the house and worked hard.

My early childhood was spent watching my Aunty on television. She was the Prime Minister of New Zealand. I visited New Zealand to watch my Aunty in a debate and decided she was great. I then started to practice debates on my teddies but as I got older I started trying it out for real on my parents. They weren't too pleased! My mother got tired of my cheekiness and enrolled me in many clubs to keep me busy.

I did many performances and shows and was in the top of my group at high school. I won three speech competitions and was the top debater in my region. I liked starting up arguments about different things, but as I carried on I realised there was not point arguing about what was wrong in the world. It was at that point I became a new person and started making a positive difference at school and to the community.I enjoyed looking after people, new students and achieved the place of Head Boy. I loved English, but hated sport. I was known as a strong student who was firm about his word. Lots of students liked me and I was popular with the teachers.

I went to Canterbury University and did drama courses. After that I went to Brazil for seven months to see my dad and how the council work. I came back and went back to Canterbury University and studied top grade English. I then joined the Christchurch City Council. I really enjoyed that seen as it helped me on my way.

One of my most challenging moments was to climb a 5000ft in just one hour. I believed in myself and made it. The next thing was I had a wonderful girlfriend but she rejected me. Then sadly my old dog Billy died. I had had him since I was eleven years old. Things started to look up when I brought my very own small mansion. That was my very memory. I loved my mansion.

I never tried to get married after my one rejection. I now live in my mansion with my two border collies and a pet turtle called Raindrop. I thought that having children would be bad as I would not be able to give them their needs. I am currently working for the Canterbury City Council for the enviroment. I am enjoying that job, but I want to go further. One day I would like to become the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

The Flying fox

Whooh! Have you ever flown down a line at 50mph! I have. It all started when I decided I wanted to go on the flying fox. I skidded down the hill and landed in a heap at the end of the line. Oh no! I thought, looking at the very long line ending miles away.

Tick! Tick! My watch showed it was ten o'clock. Oh come on. Finally it was my go. I hopped on and got strapped up. A shot of nerves suddenly flooded my body. What if I fell off?  I'd never see the light of day again. Ah, well I'm strapped in. I'll be safe. Won't I? My feet lifted off the ground and off I went.

Whizz! I zipped down the line as fast as a car. I glanced down at the gloomy ditch fifty metres below. The freezing air brushed against my cheek. The tires were getting nearer and nearer. I took one last glance at the ditch below.

Whoop! I whacked the tires with the power of an Apollo rocket. Suddenly I started sliding backwards. Oh no! Oh wait I'm getting off. I don't want to get off. I had to though. Uh oh!  The hill was huge and very steep and the sun was boiling. Meekly I picked up the heaving seat and started to drag it up the hill. That was fun not scary at all, I thought.

The Cat in the Classroom

The cat in the classroom was sad,

Everyone else was glad,

Then the cat went mad,

And all the children went bad,

The poor cat wanted it's dad,

Just like a small little lad,

So he got out his big notepad,

And now it is never sad.
