An abandoned warehouse
Waterfalls of boxes crowded the glass scattered floor, shafts of light making patches of them light brown. Concrete walls were the main structure, the objects that were actually holding the place together. Old, tattered banners screeched, "50% of every stocked item!" Wading along the box covered floor, you would find your self at the till. All the dust on it looked like snow on frosty ground. The whole place smelt like mouldy plants, disgusting gone-off food, dusty books and sodden toys. It was like being in a haunted house at the fair.

Part three of Millie's and Katie's time with Daisy
Chapter 4-The story.
"Will you tell us what happened?" Millie asked. "Of course, just look at the pool," was all that was in Daisy's answer. "How on earth can the pool tell a story?" Katie quizzed. "I mean how." "You just tell the pool what you are doing, (since there are three things you can do), then if it is story, you describe the story really well and the story will turn into a moving movie, (when you speak), on the pool. "Ok, go on," Katie replied. "You know, the story, if you were going to say one," she added hastily, looking at Daisy's confused face. "I was going to tell one infact," Daisy chirruped. "Can you tell the future or something?" "O-," Katie started. "Back to the point," Millie interrupted quickly. They would be here for ages if they didn't get a move on. Daisy whispered some sort of words into the pool. "Sum wetyuese ares rewth trewaz datgh xde mayrew bfrtyee," she whispered. "Pool language," she explained quickly. The pool shimmered, and let off sparks of light for a few seconds, and then sprang into life. Daisy begun her story. "A few days ago, my friends Tulip, Lavender, Rose and Lily, Buttercup and I were out for a walk. We spotted some gnome-like creatures on the hills. Tulip got her super pixie deluxe telescope out, and started adjusting it to the right degree. "Wow, look at them," she gasped, with a pinch of frightness in her voice, whilst passing the telescope around. "I think they may be gnomes," Lily stammered. "They are gnomes," Rose screeched. "Raise the alert, raise the alert!!!!! Everyone form a line! One, two, three and a four! One, two, three and a four!" Lavender ordered. She can be dramatic at times. We obeyed, and then scurried off to find something, or someone to help us. We all scuttled into the palace, all gasping our heads off for breath. "Your majesty! Your majesty!" we all screamed. "Gnomes at the fifth hill of the valley." "Right, I shall send for the protection barrier, she replied calmly. With that she boomed, "Waiter! We need assistance straight away." A waiter scurried over the floor looking a bit worried. "Your majesty," he chirruped. "I am here to assist you, but I have some tragic news. The future part of all the pools has been broken, and the gold plate has been broken, and stolen. We only have a chip left." He handed out a tight hand, and let a tear drop. "Although, Bradley tripped them up, and they went crashing to the ground. They dropped the gold pieces into the human world. We still have hope." I remember rushing back to my home, sobbing and crying with fury, and sadness. Those gnomes!!!! How I despised, oh how I despised those ridiculous, idiotic, thieving fancy pants gnomes!!!!! After my temper had finished, I went to apologize to the queen for rushing off. She said to me it was O.K. "Your majesty," I addressed her. "Do you want me to go to human world to find something or someone to help?" "Yes," the queen sighed. "I shall go straight away and find something or someone, and bring them here to you." With that, I just flew of, and came to the human world. I had been searching for days, and broke down in your garden. I cried, like I was crying for all the chocolate in a chocolate factory. And... well...here we are!!" "Tragic," Katie gasped. "Yes, real tragic and so disappointing," Millie added. "So, how are you going to find these people?" "Well," Daisy murmured. "I think I may have found them!!!!!!"

Graham Braddock Art

On Wednesday, an artist named Graham Braddock came and taught us all about colour. We were all very interested, because he did it in a fun sort of way.
First, he handed out these sheets, with traced images on the front. We placed out our permanent markers, our pencils and our red, yellow and blue jovies, and got ready for the lesson. The traces on the paper looked like a sausage and the cooulr wheel!!! We were all talking untill Graham Broddock swept into view. We then all reconized his kind face. You see, he has been coming to our school for a few years now, and we all especially liked his enthusiasim!
Second, he introduced inself, and explained clearly about what he was teachiung us about; colour. Afterward he explained about the traced imades on our pages, and told us to move them portrait. We drew flowers in the six spaces of what we thought was the colour wheel.
After we had finished the flowers, he talked about the primary colours and the secondary colours. The primary colours are the colours red, yellow, and blue. We coloured three of the six flwers in these colours.
Then, he asked us to look over where his helping person was. The helping person exclaimed, "Just imagine there's a girl named Samantha, who has been told about that her parents have different genes. Those genes mixed together to create her presonality. Red is her father and yellow is her mother. Mix those together, it creates orange!! That's her!!!" She poured some yellow dye, and red dye and they mixed together to create orange!!! We tried these with our jovies. Mine didn't exactly work!!!!!!
The helping peron chirruped up again. "Come over here Graham and be Tommy this time." Graham reluctanly came over. "This is Tommy," the helper explained. "He has been told that his mother's gene's and his mothers genes, make up his personality. Blue is his father and yellow is his mothers. Mix them together and there green; his personality! She poured the blue dye and yellow dye into a small jar to create green!`We tried these with our jovies.
The helper got Graham Braddock to come to the stage again. "Your name can be Lily this time," the helper chuckled. "Now, Lily has just been told that her`personality is made of her mothers genes and also herfathers. Mix these together and you get her personality! Let's say that your fathers genes are blue, and your mothers red. Mix those together and that makes purple;your personality!" She poured blue dye and red as well to create purple!!! We all tried these with our pastels.
Last, we got taught that the art we just made was the colour wheel, and also another amazing thing. The other amazing thing was that say you were doing a painting, and you painted orange, well you would just go too the opposite of that colour and colour it next to it, to make that colour stand out!!!! AMAZING!!!
I really enjoy Graham Braddock art, and I am quite sad that he won't be comingback next year, or the next, or the next, or the next. He lives in Auckland you see, and it is expensive and also very tiring for him to come down to Christchurch. Now the helper is going to do it instead, but I don't really mind!!!!

My poetic writing on Bobby!! (My puppy!!)

Quietness filled the room, only the soft, quite breathing of the sleeping puppy in the corner. Ah yes, the puppy. Tired from his run on the beach, his velvety paws were curled, and his big brown eyes were covered by his drooping eyelashes. All the spots on his body were slowly reaching up, and then falling down. They were like the night sky, scattered about, those spots. A beautiful puppy, you may think, and indeed he was. Quite gentle in his ways.
Shhhhhhh, he's stirring. Let's leave him be.
