Photos make your blog page look professional and add interest for your audience.

When a photo is taken on a camera or found online it is a certain size. The size of a photo is important to consider and for our blog please do not use photos any bigger than 60k.

To place a photo in your entry you must have it saved to the desktop on your computer or in another place you can find easily. You can either create a new entry or edit an existing entry to add a photo. Simply click on the 'tree' icon and 'browse' for your photo in the folder where you saved it. Once selected, click 'upload'; it will appear in the box below. Click on the 'appearance' tab to decide how the picture will be placed on your page.

Once you are happy, click 'insert'. Once your image is inserted, you can click on it to adjust the size. 

REMEMBER- Too many photos on our blog site will result in us running out of space, so please be economical in your use of them!

Here's how to change the colours of your blog page so yours is interesting and unique. Have fun playing around with the colour settings!

Tips-

• Choose a colour theme and stick to it. For example, shades of green, orange or blacks and greys?
• Keep main titles and subtitles the same.
• Choose a darker colour for your background and a lighter version of the same colour for text blocks.
• Highlight borders with a bright colour.

Sign In - View weblog - Edit this weblog - Weblog - Layout for your blog

Then, either Edit layout or Select another layout

Select another layout allows you to choose one of four layouts. (Booklet, My Colours, Coloured or Board default)

Select another layout - Choose layout - Manage or create layout templates

Edit layout allows you to change the font, change the colour settings and upload images.

Edit layout -Theme colour -Font setting - Advanced colour settings

Saving Changes is very important. Make sure you do this every time you alter anything. You can preview your changes and then allow changes.
